TJAC to bring TRS 'failures' in public domain

The Telangana Joint Action Committee (TJAC) led by Prof. M. Kodandaram, honorary president of the Telangana Vidya Vanthula Vedika (TVV) will bring the ‘evaluation report’ on two- year rule of the TRS government in public domain.

The report which been brought out by the TVV will be published and the book will be released at a function in Hyderabad on June 26.  

Vidya Vanthula Vedika will hold meetings in all the districts and seek opinions of the public on the Report.

A source from TJAC said the book will cover eight issues of health, education, agriculture, electricity, distribution of land to Dalits, democratic and civil rights and administration. 

Experts on these subjects have analyzed the policies of the Telangana government, its promises in the election manifesto and its achievements and failures over the last two years.

It is learned that former University Grants Commission (UGC) chairman and some experts from different fields will attend the book release function.

The TJAC will initiate discussions on the report and come out with concrete suggestions involving various sections of the society.

Prof M. Kodandaram said that they would also bring out another book, reviewing the rule of the TRS government after three years.’ In his foreword to the book Evaluation of two- year rule of  TRS’(Rendendla TRS Palana Oka Parisheelana) has said that the book was intended to give a direction to the build a Telangana  in which people will live a life of self-respect and to prepare an action for future by reviewing two years journey.
