Land value has been increased many fold in and around the Mancherial town following the news that the new district will be created with Mancherial headquarters.
It is found that same land is being sold to many persons with fake documents and some of the lands are landing in legal litigations.

Assistant Superintendent of police, Mancherial S. M Vijay Kumar said they have receiving many land related complaints and added that one plot is being sold more than one person.

He advised buyers to purchase plots only in the government approved layouts. Buyers should check the documents of survey numbers and Pahani and EC authorization before purchasing any land.
